Kenya offers the opportunity for our volunteers to participate in a wide range of activities. Project work can involve anything from construction to classroom instruction to business implementation, with each volunteer having a choice in what they get involved in. With the rising popularity of "voluntourism," we also set aside time for cultural and relaxing activities, ranging from a safari in the Maasai Mara, to a tour of the Kibera slums.
We partner with a local NGO in Kenya to ensure our projects are successful. This NGO helps us with project planning and material acquisition, provides transportation, and maintains the projects after we leave. They also operate our tourism activities, offering rates far below industry standard! Their volunteer house where we stay, in a quiet Nairobi suburb, is safe and comfortable.
